Produce Distribution
1st & 3rd & 5th Thursday mornings
8 A.M. to 9:30 A.M.

Food is provided from the food pantry once a month. Produce is distributed twice a month.
Financial assistance is provided once every six months.
Clothing vouchers are issued every two months. Furniture vouchers are for emergency situations.

Financial assistance is available for the following services:
Electric, Gas, & Water Bills, Prescriptions, Rent, Temporary Shelter, and Transportation

Financial assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The Serving Center operates with a daily budget, and funds are usually exhausted on a daily basis because funding is limited. You will be asked to complete a financial worksheet with your income and expenses. Proof of a financial crisis (medical bills, car repair, lay-off, etc) is helpful. If we are able to assist with a utility bill, a pledge or payment will be made directly to the utility company. A pledge on your TXU account is good for 45 days, and a check is issued at the end of the month that the pledge was made. Rental assistance requires a lease agreement. Bill(s) must be in your name or the name of your spouse, in order for the Serving Center to help. We do not assist with Reliant Energy bills.

The Fresh Food for Families produce distribution is not restricted to residents of the Serving Center service area. This is done from the parking lot on the 1st and 3rd & 5th Thursday mornings, from 8:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. You are encouraged to come for the produce distribution in addition to the food pantry every two weeks. HOPE bags are nutritional, supplemental groceries for seniors who are 60+ years old, and are distributed on the 2nd Friday.
